Winter Storms Continue to Bring Heavy Snow to Yosemite National Park and the Sierra Nevada

This was the scene yesterday morning in Yosemite Valley during a Gallery photography workshop with Michael Frye.

If you are considering traveling to Yosemite, or anywhere in the higher elevations of the Sierra, please check with the local road and weather information channels before heading out. While all park roads are currently closed due to heavy snow accumulations and tree failure, conditions are constantly changing.

Get the latest news on Yosemite National Park here. Assessment of all roads in Yosemite will occur throughout the day. For 24-hour road information please call 209-372-0200.
